Nobody at the hostess station. Seated ourselves and we were ignored by at least 10 different servers.

Massive portions and everything is def out of a bag and or frozen. Not my kind of place but hey there's gotta be something for everyone.

After going to the Ocean Center Aquarium we walked around the plaza a bit. My husband and I both had to use the restrooms so we went downstairs to use them. The views of the ocean and boats was great, so we stopped to look. On our left-hand side there it was, Beach Bums Bar & Grill. We had heard... More

We picked up our friends from the airport and on the way thru Maalaea we ate at Beach Bums. We had the fish and shrimp plate. It was huge, had to take some home. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked as well as the shrimp. The meal was over rice and covered with vegetables from the Island. More then... More

Tucked away in the harbour of Maalaea, this restaurant on the harbour is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Loved the MaiTai's, and the chili is the best I've ever had! Breakfast pancakes were lovely, and the portions were more thank generous. Everyone loved their meals, no matter what time we were there, and the harbour view is amazing! Mahalo!!!!

We come to Maui 2-3 times a year, often for a month at a time. We've come to Beach Bums every week since the week they opened when we are on island. Sadly, it is time to say farewell to Beach Bums. Our first visit, two weeks ago, it took an hour to be seated for our party of six,... More

We stopped for beers and an appetizer in the bar after walking through the aquarium. We had the fried zucchini and it was great - not greasy at all. There was a good beer selection and our server, Jason Y, was awesome.

Highly suggest this for dinner. All food we ordered was really good, happy hour 3-6 sealed the deal with $3 margaritas! Service was good too. The only drawback is that even if you get a table near the water you can't see the sun while it's setting because of the mountain in the way. Worth a stop though!

We're local residents, party of 6. We went out to Beach Bums last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. We arrived about 6:30ish. We were told there would be about an hour wait. We went to the bar, and had some cocktails while we waited for a table for 2 hours! Our waitress was great. . . she took our... More
