Right across from the Komoda bakery is the Rodeo General store. Here they have groceries, fruit, veggies, coffee, breakfast delights, sandwiches, gelato, liquor, beer, local treats. The workers are welcoming and friendly when you walk in! I even scored a cheaper price on the mini Ocean Vodka (made in Maui) and bought a few here to take home. Cheaper than... More

We spent our morning at the Lavender Farm and stopped at the Rodeo General Store for sandwiches. They have a deli and make the sandwiches to order. I had a delicious turkey in croissant with avocado. We walked across the street to a picnic table to eat our lunch. Nothing fancy but very good.

We were looking for some sandwiches to take with us prior to going to Haleakala and this place came through. Really good options, tasty, good bread. I was worried we would have to resort to some cardboard refrigerated option from a hole in the wall and instead we got something delicious. It looked like they had several excellent salads as... This is a throwback to what a "general store" used to be. Part grocery store, deli that has hot/cold food available. Good place to stop and get a few snacks and other items for your journey

Popped in for an ice cream, nice choice and very reasonable, seems to live up to the general store tag and sell most things, well worth a browse, nice pleasant staff as well.

Need poke? a sandwich? coffee? beer? sunscreen? smoothie? Deli? Here it is! We stayed in a rental north of Makawao on Olinda Road. This was our go to before heading off for whatever Maui adventure was next. Friendly service. Good selection.

This is a regular stop for us on the weekends before going on a hike or to the beach or park. Their sandwiches are HUGE, delicious and made with good quality fresh ingredients . All of this at a great price, especially compared to what you get elsewhere in the area for the same price or more. They also have... More

This grocery store, gift shop, and wine cellar is a must visit for visitors to Maui. It is located centrally in the historic paniolo(Hawaiian cowboy) town of Makawao. Take out specialties and sandwiches abound. The wine cellar is abundantly stocked and kept at 40 F.
