This is a good place for a quick breakfast before a day of adventure. Their Huevos Rancheros are the best. Great pancakes and a good traditional American breakfast. Great Blood Marys! I had a "new" cocktail we invented on our trip, called a Screw Robby...More

We had lunch at the Pioneer twice during our stay. The food was very good and prices reasonable for Hawaii. The hamburgers are huge so bring a big appetite.

After our ultimate whale watching experience we walk across the street and had a wonderful lunch. The view was awesome! Service great even though it was busy and the food was yummy!

Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just for happy hour, you can't find a more historic or nostalgic location. Built back in the early 1900's, you be seated in this quaint open-air restaurant right next to the harbor, with all of the action and excitement...More

While the view of the harbor is excellent, it was over-crowded to be a peaceful lunch. Food was good, but pricey. Service was very good. Would return for convenience, but not for a leisurely meal.

The weather in February and March is close to perfect -- shorts and sandals. It is our favorite time to visit primarily for the humpback whales.

I lived on Maui many, many years ago and would go to the Pioneer Inn for breakfast of fish and eggs and rice. Do you still offer this typical kamaaina kaw kaw?

Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour and Dinner at the historic Pioneer Inn Grill and Bar. Breakfast favorites include macadamia nut pancakes, loco moco and huevos rancheros in addition to healthy favorites like oatmeal or yogurt with fresh fruit. For lunch and dinner we offer the freshest fish, Maui grown burgers and steaks and a full range of small plates including hearts of Romaine caesar salad, seared ahi and kahlua pig sliders. The historic whalers saloon is the perfect place to watch the fishing boats come in with their catch while enjoying one of our Mai tais or another tropical favorite. We offer local draft beer and know that you will find our resident African gray parrot entertaining.
