Lahaina is a great little town and Kimo's is right in the thick of things. There is easy parking in a public lot across the street. The restaurant looks small from the street but when you go in, you realize that it is actually very large, with both an upstairs and a downstairs (both with great views and the whole... More

Was their for the Maui Oceanfront Half Marathon and this was place i chose for post race celebration. It is right on the water. They took reservations and ratings were very good. Ratings proved to be very accurate. The food was awesome. Had calamarie for appetizer and was surprised that they were sticks and battered and not the rings I... More

Had a great evening at Kimo's. There was seven of us and everyone enjoyed their dinner and wine choices. Our server, Jim, was fantastic. He answered all questions and helped with wine choices. Jim was professional, friendly and efficient. We will be back!

Kimo's on Front Street Lahaina is part of a chain which has generally good food but the HULA PIE is what people remember from previous trips to the islands! Save your restaurant receipt with hula pie on it and when you return the next hula pie is free! Yum

I have dined at Kimos for over 30 years or more and have always enjoyed good food and service. This past visit was very disappointing. I told my guest that they were in for a greta meal and what a let down. The entrees were all cold and the service was horrible. The always wonderful fish chowder was Luke warm. I... More

Each time we return to Lahaina we have dinner or lunch at Kimo's. We've been upstairs and down (sunset) and staff always is professional and accommodating. Food is consistent and always good. Like I said, we return each time we come back to Lahaina!

Had an early dinner (4.45) at Kimos which was so nice. Recommend going early though as at 5.30 it was really starting to fill up! First off, omg it was so efficient! Waitress' knew there stuff so well!! Water glass was never, ever empty and all staff were very polite. Food. Yum. Complimentary bread rolls and...carrot muffins? They were surprisingly... More

My wife and I have been going to Kimo's since our first Maui visit in 1988. We ALWAYS plan on dinner at Kimo's and have never been disappointed. Easy to recommend!

We go to Kimos every time we visit Maui ( 18 times) This a must do dinner. Their coconut shrimp are the best I've had and prime rib is done to perfection. Love the atmosphere and the Waite staff is very accommodating. Recommend reservations because they are busy. We go early to get an Oceanside seat.

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
