Food here was really good and you want find a better view of the sunset while you eat dinner. Bar menu downstairs with a more formal dinner menu for upstairs.

Great food, good service - awesome atmosphere. What can you say about a place that has it all. And not the "crazy" prices you might expect for the Maui resorts area. Try the fresh fish - the servers know the best way to recommend it...More

Kimo's has been around for a long time for a reason. Quality staff, great location and the best drinks. The food is solid, I recommend the fish tacos and any fish with the coconut crust preparation. The Lani ribs is a giant portion and the...More

Lunch in Lahaina Front Street. This restaurant has a great view to the ocean and you get to sit right on the deck. You might get hit by waves while eating if you sit in the front - as we have seen it with the...More

All fish is locally sourced so selections vary, as do preparations. Food was very good. Chicken, steak, and vegan dinners are also offered. This place is busy as it's in the heart of the tourist district. Reservations recommended although the bar menu pupus may suffice...More

Kimo's was a recommendation from our zip lining guide, and true to his word it was amazing! Our group of 8 were well taken care of by attentive staff. We all enjoyed our meals and agreed that it was our best meal in Maui. I...More

We love going to Kimo's for lunch or dinner. We celebrated my husbands' birthday here. He also wanted to go back for lunch before we left. I think that sums it up! Order the Hula Pie first because theirs is the best!!

Definitely need reservations for this place unless you go later, say after 8:30. Food is ok, fresh fish. Medium size portions and reasonable pricing, meals around low $30s.

We come to Kimo's every time we visit Maui and they never disappoint. The bar area has great bartenders and live island music and of course the view is not to be missed. Try being there in time for sunset.

They definitely have a Happy Hour in the late afternoon (I think that 3PM to 5PM sounds correct) but, also think that there might be another one around the lunch hour - I'm betting that a quick call to the restaurant will... More

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
