I've been coming to the islands since the 70's and each time I return I always look forward to a breakfast or two at McDonalds. If you have never been here before I recommend coming for a breakfast treat. Ready? Port-a-gee (Portuguese) Sausage, scrambled eggs, and rice. Don't forget your soy sauce. You have an option for Spam but the... More

We only went once for lunch, but in a pinch McDonald's can be a very welcome and convenient sight. Fairly priced and quality was consistent as usual. No complaints - three stars only because I'm not 15...if that were so, I could eat three big macs and I would give an enthusiastic five stars!

This seemed to be a newer McDonalds, everything was so shiny and clean. This being said, you could also tell the employees work hard to keep it that way. Here, you can get traditional egg mcmuffins and hotcakes or sample a local breakfast which includes rice, Portuguese sausage with a packet of soy sauce to top it off. I would... More

McDonald's in Hawaii has all the regular items plus great local Hawaiian dishes. Most locals order local food which comes on a plate. For breakfast the big local breakfast is a scoop of rice, scrambled eggs and 3 pieces each of fried Portuguese sausage and fried spam. Its great. They have similar plate lunches throughout the day. Don't pass up... More

My family and I were in Kauai Dec. 18-25 and stayed at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. We had dinner here one night. Location was only about 10 minutes from the resort.

When travelling, we often pickup McD's fruit and yogurt parfaits to stick in the fridge for breakfast. They were only $1 here, just like on the mainland. We also tried their Haupia (coconut) pies - very tasty!

Same mediocrity we have come to expect from these franchises. The biggest difference is that they seem to find getting the order right to be a major challenge. For better options, try Tip Top for breakfast or one of the small restaurants at Kalapaki Beach for lunch.

This is a typical standard McDonald's. SImilar to what you will find around the country. The only exception is that you will be able to get Spam or Portuguese sausage, Eggs, and Rice in the morning. As well as the famous Fruit Punch, or Taro Pie when they have it. The problem with this McDonald's is their service is very... More

What can I say. Been to one you been to them all. Best thing they have is the unique items only for Hawaii. Instead of apple pie eat the taro Pie. Try the Portuguese sausage breakfast. Everything else is well McDonald's.

Came here for breakfast and got in the drive-thru line at 10:23. They are so slow here and disorganized, that we didn't get to order until 10:30, which we were then told that we can not order breakfast because they are switching over to lunch. We said that we didn't want anything then. Of course we were now stuck in... More
