I stopped here during my last day on the island... I had a solo brunch at the bar in the lounge. Rachael, the bartender, was fantastic company -- funny, sweet, and gave me some great suggestions for sightseeing that day. The $10 all-you-can-drink mimosas were a great value. Brunch was a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. The malasada doughnuts... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere and service was great! We had the pork roast and shared it. The courtyard setting was beautiful and romantic. We also had ahi tuna appetizer but it was a little on the fishy side and we had a caprese salad as well.

I didn't like this place the 2nd time I went. It was nice the first time. But a guy name Bill was very rude. I don't recommend this place to visit. Thumbs down.

We dropped over here for lunch on a rainy, overcast day. The food was excellent. I had the catch of the day and my wife had a vegetarian sandwich. We both had passionfruit tea. Afterwords we wandered around the various rooms that had local crafts for sale. I went to the rum tasting which was a lot of fun. I'm... More

Gaylord's is fantastic. We often go there for happy hour. Their Mai Tai is the best on the island. They follow the original 1944 Trader Vic recipe using Koloa Rum. They even have a cane press and press their own sugar cane for the simple syrup. They also have $5 pupus. Gaylord's also has a Sunday brunch that is amazing.... More

We went to Lihue to visit the rum factory. When we found out there were no tours at the factory we decided to eat lunch here for convenience. This turned out to be a nice older place and the food and service were excellent. We would eat here again.

I had the veggie sandwich and my husband had the fish of the day for lunch. The size of the fish was very small, more the size one would expect as an apy. Both the sandwich and fish were well done and tasty. After our meal when our young waiter came to clear the table my husband asked for a... More

This restaurants' Sunday brunch is wonderful. We chose this because of recommendations of friends and the fact that is was housed in an Hawaiian mansion. The rum soaked bread pudding was extraordinary. We we told to experience it while it was still on the buffet table because it never lasted long. Everything was excellent but the bread pudding stood out.

The food was good here but it came so fast I'd barely had a slurp of water. Because of a luau the only place to eat was inside. It was very dark and cool inside - enough to put me off returning. Prices were high too but I'll reiterate that the pork tenderloin was very goof
