We had lunch here on Feb 12 2017. Very authentic place . Not the most clean and a bit run down. Washrooms were not very clean at all. The food was hit and miss. I had the Cobb salad and it was delicious. My husband had the cheese burger and asked for it to be well done and it was... More

Go there many Monday nights to hear Michael Keale (1st cousin to Iz) from 6-8 pm for free. Pizza is the best and other dinners are great too. The atmosphere is very country bar casual.

Visited with family for a dinner. And we were warned ... atmosphere was local and cosy. Menu was ok mainly pizza which we had and all around the table seemed to enjoy Live music was good and Hawaiian theme Problem was when waiting for the taxi, which took ages, a fight at the bar ensued leaving us and the staff... This place is a must go. The food, the atmosphere, the music! The Mai Tai and fresh fish is always a good bet. The band that plays Thursday's...Daryl and...?...are great. Can't say enough about this place we go every trip to Kauai.

There is no luau, no restaurant that is as Ohana (family) as Tahiti Nui. Mitsu and Vicky Yokotake are the most loving hosts. The Mai tais were abundant, the music as played by Mitsu so beautiful I wanted it to go on forever. Because this is a relaxed, comfortable place, we went to the banana and ti leaf covered pit... My wife, 11 year old son and I did their Wednesday night Luau which was fun. I liked the smaller intimate setting (about 70 guests), all you can drink Mai Tais, and the fabulous show. The seating is tight and food only fair but I would definitely recommend it if you are staying on the north shore and don't want... More

If you know and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Hanalei, then you'll feel right at home at Tahiti Nui. They're probably best known for their pizzas, which are really good, but the salads and macadamia nut-crusted chichen are also great. The charm of the restaurant includes its history and the live music with the occasional hula dancer.

Visit this place during our stay in Princeville. Honestly i wasn't impressed. My husband ordered the special pizza but it was cold ( re-heated), burned, not very tasty. The other courses were average also.

Was fun to stop in and see where part of Clooney movie was filmed. It is convenient location. Beer selection is decent. We had a bar pie. Funniest part was when a regular came over to talk to us through the window (we were seated outside on the lanai) and ended up asking if we were going to finish the... More

I don't like Disneyfication of Hawaii, but this luau is the real deal. Family luau, with seeing the pig roast, eating great family food, and dancing and music that feels authentic and well paced. Great mai tais, well worth the money.
