We are SO sad to see you are temporarily closed. Had a lovely dinner with our family after our 29th year wedding vow renewal. Please open again. We love you Hawaii and look forward to more sunny days! Mahalo.❤️💕🌸

Both nights' dinners pleased us, but we were especially delighted by the first night's meal. We ordered the special fish dish with purple sweet potato, ginger monchong with sushi rice cake, tower of Maui onion rings, and a Moana Mule. Tab came to $144 including...tax. The second night we shared a Caesar salad and the Seafood Tower for 2 (lobster, tiger prawns, Pacific oysters, and king crab leg). Bill including tax was $118. Be sure to make reservations with the concierge. The earliest seating we could get both nights was 6:30 pm. The first night we sat outside and got to experience a beautiful sunset. On the second night, the wind was so gusty that guests had to eat indoors.More

What a great view! We went here for dinner with the whole family. Tasty food, friendly and quick service. And the location was simply fantastic! 👍🏼

Great food. Get the Brussel Sprouts they are out of this world. Service was amazing. Sat at a table overlooking the ocean.

We have dined at KPC several times over the years, and they have never failed to surprise us with the service, the view, or the food. This time they surprised us by disappointing us. The "sunset seating" has become more competitive lately, inspiring an added...fee (bit of a surprise on the bill), and prices in general have gone up. The food remains exquisite, well resourced and prepared and imaginatively presented... but not always what we ordered. We ordered the lobster chowder and the crispy octopus for appetizers, and they were marvelous -- slightly more than an amuse bouche portion, absolutely delicious. The difficulty came with the entrees -- one of us ordered the special (a grilled local whitefish on a bed of purple potato) and the other ordered the seared scallops served with edamane and salmon roe. Sadly, we both got the special instead. Since it took a patient wait for the entrees to make it out to the table, we accepted the unasked changed, and ordered a refill on our sauvignon blancs ... onto which the server poured a pinot grigio. Everyone has an off-night, so we rolled with the punches. Don't get me wrong, the food remains excellent, and the special was quite tasty. It just wasn't what we ordered, and it didn't seem worth making a fuss. The blended wine was just icing. Next time, we hope to be surprised, but only by the excellence we generally have come to expect from KPC.More

Look- the reason to eat here is convenience (only if you’re starting in the Hilton) and sunset view. High dollar prices with mediocre food. Our party of seven spent over $500 and had bad to ok results. Chowder too salty to taste. Sent back Gyoza...too salty, that person ate it because their other dish was the chowder. Bone marrow. Too salty, none of the sumptuous umami we hoped for Crab fried rice- couldn’t taste the crab Grilled mahi mahi- not too salty but weird texture. Almost like it was boiled instead of grilled accompanying salad was ok Kids Mac and cheese- no complaints! Miso sea bass- no complaints! Pork Bao- ok Presentation looked excellent! Had an ok time but not because of the food.More

If you have to ask, you can't afford it. Having said that, we had superb steaks and seafood there. The service and milieu were outstanding. I have to admit it seemed worth every penny. Given a choice between Nui (similarly priced and very good) and...this place, I'd choose this again.More

We enjoyed this restaurant for both the beautiful beach front view and the delicious food. We had the scallops and the special fish dish and both were great. We watched the whales pass by while sipping our wine and watching the sun set. It was...perfect.More

This was recommended by someone at the resort and they were right. You can sit right near the ocean and have dinner outside or inside. Service was excellent by their friendly staff. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. Prices are compairable to Ruths Chris....I had the filet with mashed potatoes and mushrooms with onions. The margarita was one of the best I've ever had. My wife and I split the food and the desert. We each had our own salads which were really good too. Overall I would say this was the best place we have eaten on the island. Too expensive to eat here every night (we would if we could). Make reservations. They fill up fast.More

We booked at table right at water's edge, which cost us $25 per person extra to guarantee, although that included a glass of bubbly and a small appetizer. We saw the spectacular sunset and even saw a whale surface out in the ocean. We ordered...the dinner special (local ono fish) and it was absolutely delicious. So if you are looking for a special dinner, both location and food wise, we would highly recommend KPC.More

The other answers are all good. Here are a few other tips: 1. Hawaii sunset is pretty consistent. End of June the sun sets at 7:00 so sit at about 6:30. 2. Food is good, not great, but it's nice to not have to... More
