Best spot for lunch! We stuffed ourselves with wraps and roast beef sandwiches, homemade ice cream, and banana nut bread! The portions are generous and the staff is really nice! They had cute children's books for purchase and clean bathrooms. I would for sure stop here on the way up to the falls and valley of kings.

Hot after walking around the Hawaiian Botanical Gardens, this place looked good enough to stop for lunch (indeed we drove past and thought it looked so good we turned around and went back). And good it was. Really fresh and tasty rolls and wraps (and nachos for the Mexican food obsessed son) were quickly served. And the smoothies were excellent... More

Lovely place to stop and relax and enjoy the amazing view while having delicious smoothies after a hiking day. Okay service. Locals were eating here. Would definitely stop again. The beautiful farm and shake shack is for sale. Hopefully someone with a passion will buy it and preserve this great little place. Adorable bathroom.

Outside tables; somewhat varied menu; everything fresh; loved it and the people who worked there! We had a wrap with avocado and sprouts and a fabulous smoothie with mixed fruits!

We stopped by this little place on our way to Hilo for a quick lunch. Perfect stop with a clean bathroom, fresh foods and even fun local souvenirs! We ordered a passion fruit smoothie, chips and fresh guac (giant Linda avocados are amazing), and the fish wrap! After lunch we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of fruit trees.... Came across this place by accident along the scenic route near Hilo! No artificial flavors or juices. And no ice! Just frozen fruit! I inhaled mine in less than 5 mins!!!

Healthy and tasty and importantly, cold smoothies and ice cream. Nice pit stop to cool down. Macadamia Nut cookies are the bomb.

We were relieved to find this place open after we saw For Sale signs. Don't know how long it may be open. Very tasty fast food - order at a window and there are tables outside to eat. Prices not bad. A good place to stop if you have kids or don't want to wait at an inside place.

The whole plantation was for sale when we visited - for a nominal fee, I'm sure. This little stand on the side of the road has some great locally grown treats. well worth the stop!

We stopped at What’s Shakin’, a counter-serve stand. There are picnic-table seating and tables close to the order window for those wishing to sit and enjoy their fare. We were on a mission so we took our order with us on the road. There are also other items for purchase so take time to check them out. I ordered the... More
