An absolute dining experience for a mix of BBQ and local food. Poke nachos were recommended and did not disappoint. Best nachos ever. The ribs and frings were wonderful. Everything was very fresh and to top it off the cheesecake was 2 in thick with...a tangy passionfruit topping. The price was right in the wheelhouse for Hawaii (not a gouger).More

Great food and atmosphere, loved the onion rings and you absolutely can't miss the chocolate cake. Watch out as the portions are super big and you still will want room for that cake. Easy 5 out of 5 from me

Our family of four had dinner here Sunday night. They don’t take reservations, you put your name in and they text you when your table is ready. We waited 30-40 minutes but were able to download the menu and decide what we wanted while we...waited. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We recommend the lilikoi mule (tangy and tasty!) for a different twist, the BBQ sampler plate was BIG and delicious, the Southwestern salad was excellent, and our girls enjoyed every bite of their burgers. Save room for the enormous slice of chocolate cake for dessert! We shared it and still Couldn’t finish it. If you love BBQ, don’t miss The Fish and the Hog!More

My son recommended this place with the caveat that, pre-Covid-closure, it was awesome. We were happy to report that it's still awesome. He said his burger had been cooked to perfection, and that was my experience too - medium/medium-rare and so juicy. I had the...Hawaiian burger with grilled pineapple, along with a pineapple habanero jelly. Such a great combo! It wasn't spicy, just a delicious sweet-savory combo. My husband had the bbq pork - a pile of shredded pork with slaw and onion rings. He enjoyed it all. I tasted an onion ring, which was about as big as a donut. Seemed to have a thick frito-flavored batter. I liked my sweet potato fries better. ; ) Our server was outstanding - sweet, friendly, checked in regularly. We went about 1;30 and didn't have to wait, but like everywhere, they have limited seating for the time being.More

I like Hawaii and generally dislike the restaurants. Most are just not good. So, it was a treat to find Fish and the Hog. We had barbecue and it was solid. Not mind blowingly good, but very good barbecue. Its the other stuff that sets...this place apart. They care about what they are doing not just with the food, but with Covid safety, ambiance, the drink menu and solid service. The little things like interesting salads and sides with local and FRESH ingredients. Thank you Fish and Hog!! thanks to you I can hold out hope for good food in Hawaii.More

Unbelievable BBQ. Brisket, pulled pork, potato salad...all the essentials and they were excellent. Didn’t expect Texas style barbecue of this quality in little Waimea. Desserts were great too. One of us had the sampler plate another had the brisket tacos. Everyone raved. We are going...back.More

Love Fish and the Hog. Food is so delicious, that the last 2 times they ran out of Brisket by 6:15. This time they still had, awesome! Ordered online, paid and picked up. They had a policy that dessert was only to be ordered in...person. Okay, cool. Went to order on the side, was informed that a new policy has been put in place. No more togo orders for dessert, for dine in only. WOW, loss in about $20 more sales and an even better tip as I was going to add more in cash, aside from the credit card already done. We basically went here because we have been craving the chocolate cake and banana cream pie.More

Really great food and despite the current COVID circumstances and the fear that our wait would be at least an hour, we were seated within 10 minutes! Excellent staff and fantastic food!

A variety of very good food and drink. Service was fast and friendly. They had a good seating system and entry and exit for COVID measures. I would go there again. They are also open on Monday and Tuesday when many other restaurants in town...are closed.More

Awesome place for a stuffed out meal. We started with the banana cream pie - yes, we are "eat dessert first" people. You can always take a doggy bag of your meal@! I had the brisket plate and the wife had the sampler plate. Knowing...we would not eat everything. The ribs were so delish. The brisket was tender and tasty. Yes, drop the rib and walk away - this place is awesome.More

Stupid TripAdvisor won't let me post an internet link on here. Just Google "the fish and the hog + menu" That should do it.
