As we were driving on route 19 toward Hawi we realized when we got to Hawi we might not have any place to eat, so a quick review on trip advisor showed us a place called the Honoka’a Public house. Well, it was well rated...although not much competition in this small town. We parked in front and when we got out there was thunderous music coming; turned out to be a DJ; about a dozen people were there; rustic but nice setting. We sat at the bar and there were 2 delightful gals running the show. The music quieted down a bit later; i got a salad and Chili. The food was very good and the pizza, which they are known for, looked world class. Almost so much so that I regret that we didn't come back for it. A few good interesting beers. A nice stop and possibly a nice town to base in. If you are going to Waipi’o valley, it is on the way.More

This is a cute local pub, the pizzas are always a family favorite. This time I added a Greek Salad and my son had a burger. It was all good. I wished it was closer to my home (45 minutes drive), but it's a nice...drive out. Service was good.More

This is a beer and burger joint located in Honokaa town. Seating is limited but the overall vibe was very friendly. We ordered a burger and fries and it was excellent with really courteous service.
