Food was of average quality. Great service & a beautiful setting. Had a nice salad bar. Food was OK but nothing to write home about.

The waffles (strawberry and banana cinnamon ) are good for breakfast and so was the bacon and eggs. The coconut syrup was delicious!

Not a bad choice for lunch. Located across from pond so a decent view for a diner The chicken katsu could easily serve two people. Kahuna burger was tasty. The salad bar for $4.95 was probably not worth it.

The food there was not fresh, the ahi tuna was fishy tasting and the pork was rancid. Complained and they took off less than $2. Big deal, meal was $45, couldn't even eat most of it.

This takes you back to the 60's. It has great food. They have 2 places on one of the windows showing how far the water came up back in 1957 and 1960 thought that pretty cool. The prices as very reasonable.

Went there last year for thanksgiving cause we waited too long for Queens Court. Was okay, The servers did their best, but were overwhelmed. They would set out a tray of tiny desserts, people would swarm it, none left. The usual fare was prepared, turkey, dressing, salad, etc, so I was just fine, but not as good as Queens Court. I... When in Hilo do stop by this old time but timely restaurant beside the Hilo Seaside Hotel. I have not had the privilege of staying at the hotel but eating at this great local style eatery was definitely a pleasure. They are busy so try to make reservations. Daily specials are great. Breakfast is outstanding, lunch portions are huge, and... More

Went here for my birthday with friends and it was a good choice. We went late, after the lunch hour rush and found it very quiet so got attentive service! Its a little tricky to find but worth looking for.

Stopped in for lunch and decided we had eaten more than enough seafood during the past week. Settled on their classic hamburger with waffle fries. Great burger, large enough for my wife a I to share. Good, prompt service, all at a reasonable price.

Thank Don A
