Traditional meal in old school Japanese Hotel. I've been here a number of times and love the pork chops. Each meal is served with family style sides. Delish!

This 102 year old restaurant has great staff and the service is efficient. Has a limited menu from a whiteboard, but is tasty enough and you do not have to wait long. Only has limited hours so check times. Interestingly the restaurant is only with...More

We got tired of the glitzy overpriced tourist restaurants on the main drag of Kailua-Kona. This Manago Restaurant that is a part of a very old historical hotel was a blast to the past. The sign on the wall says it is Hawaii’s oldest restaurant...More

Coffee was kinda weak, and the menu looked ok, so we went somewhere else instead. Place is a cool landmark though, and several of our friends love eating here.

A busy restaurant on Friday night. The locals came to celebrate and enjoy typical Hawaiian food. The hotel houses the oldest restaurant on the island (100 years). It certainly has character. The restaurant felt like an old English church hall. In fact it was very...More

Had lunch here today. Loved the atmosphere. Felt like we had stepped back in time. The decor pays tribute to the original owners. 91 years old and has stayed in the family. Ck out the old china and depression glass on display in the dining...More

this place is like sitting in your home serving friends and family, and it's been this way for years and years. Family style dining, great Pork Chops or Liver dishes.

The hotel has chosen to stay as true to its roots as possible and seems to have stopped in a bygone era. The lobby looks authentic and there is a funny little tv viewing room for guests just off of the lobby. The restaurant has...More

I agree with the previous writer. Food and drinks are a bargain. The wine selection is very limited. Their menu is actually written on a blackboard, not printed. Two of us had lunch and drinks for $20.
