After a long (2,000 mile) drive of our U-Haul and trailer, we decided to stay over at the Lamplighter Inn, and take advantage of the restaurant. It was a great choice! My wife and I both had the Ribeye steak. They were huge, and done perfectly. They melted in our mouths. Since then, we went back with some friends and... More

Best fine dining restaurant in this part of Wyoming! Fine dining, but also more casual in the bar. Great relaxing atmosphere. Dim lights and even fresh rose in old wine bottles on each table. Had some of the largest shrimp cocktail shrimp ever! Even rivaling the famous St. Elmo's in Indianapolis IN!! And their homemade 1,000 Island dressing, some of... More

I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The menu selection is fabulous. My personal favorite for lunch is the Lamplighter salad with a house dressing.

clean and friendly, menu average, but not much in Powell.....there are a few places, but try coffee at the Daily Grind - cute, good coffee and hard working barista's.....

The atmosphere is nice. However, the food is a little over priced for its quality. On a more positive note the wait staff were quick with drinks & bringing the orders

The restaurant is fine dining, and the food and service is the quality you would expect in a 5 star restaurant. Do not let the old outside fool you. It is a real gem, clean, and in the back dining room more formal with linen table cloths, napkins, and professional service.

It would be a 5 star, but the price is just a little higher than I think is necessary. The food is great don't get me wrong, but I am not convinced that it needs to be as high as it is.

Ate here because I was staying at the adjacent motel and was pleasantly surprised! It seems unassuming and maybe a little shady looking from the entrance I went in but, wow!, inside is completely different. Looks like a higher end restaurant and has the great service to go along. I was alone and just wanted to eat quietly so they... More

The Lamplighter has been in the Norberg family since it's inception, and all the expertise and quality can be found there one would expect after all these years. This is Powell's finest dining.

Decor is dated. It wants to be the eloquent, fine dining, but almost feels stagnant instead. Food and value are good. Service is very good. Menu and decor needs updating but if you want a quiet, good place to dine (as opposed to "eat"), the Lamplighter Inn is the place.
