Booked at the last minute and had no idea what to expect. We had a blast. The owner, Chris, was quite the host and entertainer. Such a friendly guy and ran this show like a clock. Julia drove our wagon and she was delightful. Wasn't...More

I had read some weird reviews about how hokey and lame this was, but I can tell you I was absolutely dazzled! Yeah it's a bit hokey but it's geared towards fun and family. So if you're not there for fun, you need to lighten...More

It was great to be transported in wagons. The entire family loved it. The music & food were good but the 'show' was pretty corny and out there. Overall, good experience and i def recommend it!

What a great evening with nice folks. Good opening story of ranch history. Fun wagon ride into the forest for the meals with beautiful horses pulling the wagons. More more kids than late teens early 20's. Great Dutch Oven meal. Loved the sweet aroma as...More

The food is really not that good but the ride through the National Forest in the covered wagon and the cookout with the live music was a lot of fun

Love the people of the Bar-T-5. From start to finish they are in the customer service business and they are an example of the best. Ride to and from was fun. Food was great and plentiful. Show was good. Keep up the great work!

Trip out to dinner venue is in a covered wagon with surprises on the way. Food is standard BBQ and good. The entertainment is very good especially the violin player. They get the audience involved in the act--including the kids.

I've been to several cowboy dinners inColorado and Arizona. This was great. You ride in a line of several covered wagons up to camp where dinner is served. A single cowboy on a horse leads the covered wagons filled with patrons and a single cowgirl...More

We went on this adventure as a group of adults. This is more of a family centered event, however it was still fun. The young adults who work for this business try so hard to please everyone. The show, albeit corny, tries to incorporate the...More

I don't know what ingredients are used in their food items but they provided baked beans, BBQ chicken, roast beef with a salad of mostly lettuce. You wouldn't be able to eat the bread, gravy, dessert or salad dressing.

Rich in history, Jackson Hole’s first chuck wagon adventure, the Bar T-5 began in 1974 by giving people a chance to step back and experience a time gone by, a time when they traveled by horse drawn covered wagons. Now you can join us at the Bar T-5 and make your own Western History. Climb aboard a horse drawn covered wagon just as they did in the early days of Jackson Hole for an adventure unlike any other. You’ll experience an evening filled with great Western Hospitality.Traveling along a clear mountain stream, you’ll follow a winding trail into the tall timber of the Bridger-Teton National Forest to a camp in the heart of the canyon. Watch out there may be surprises along the way, after all this is the West! Arriving at camp the wagons are circled and the aroma of a Cowboy style Dutch oven dinner greets you. Enjoy our home cooked BBQ Chicken, Roast Beef in Gravy, our famous Bar T 5 Beans and more. After dinner you can sit back and relax to the sounds of music and laughter as our cowboys take the stage. Enjoy the harmony of The Bar T 5 Band bringing your favorite cowboy songs to life! With Guitars, Fiddles and Fun for all, you’ll find yourself joining in throughout the night. The evening ends as the wagons head home from a place and time you’ll never forget.....The Bar T-5 Covered Wagon Cookout & Show. We are close by, located just 1 ½ miles SE of downtown Jackson. The wagons are ready to roll evenings, Monday through Saturday, mid-May through the end of September. The evening lasts about 3 hours. At camp you are under a covered pavilion that is heated if necessary. Reservations are requested. To find out more about how to join us and make your own Western History please give us a call.
