First meal here. We really enjoyed it. An interesting, comfortable setting, excellent varied cuisine, good servers who paid attention to their tables, reasonably priced meals, (for Jackson,) and a nice evening overall.

We had a very nice dinner. Their 2 for 1 special was really appreciated. There re some benefits of traveling in the shoulder season. The poke was very nice. I had pork with wild rice that was very flavorful. The shrimp yaki soba was a...More

Ate there this past weekend and took advantage of the 2 for 1 off-season deal. I had the buffalo rib eye which was outstanding. My wife had the tuna, also excellent. I think the kitchen old fashion is the best cocktail in Jackson.

This restaurant looks to be a world war 11 vintage Quonset Hut converted into a restaurant. The food was good but all we could afford or will willing to pay for was a $$$19.00 Hamburger. The rest of the menu was way too expensive for...More

While visiting Jackson Hole, we choose to dine at The Kitchen last evening. This restaurant is small inside and has an outdoor seating area. I like the intimate ambiance inside. Sam our waiter was engaging and provided great service. The manager jumped in and helped...More

Really looked forward to this outing and was disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered the tempura shrimp, asparagus and tuna. The shrimp was very over fried, the asparagus was just a big bowl of asparagus and the tuna was average. My cocktail...More

The Kitchen does a great job of providing a unique, relaxing atmosphere just a block off the main roads. Creative drinks and appetizers really work, the chef clearly has a palate! Truly an enjoyable evening.

One of the best meals we had all week. Each dish was fresh tasting and full of flavor. The tomato - watermelon salad was very refreshing. The duck breast was tender and flavorful and to the potato chip pie was the perfect way to end...More

Description
The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces various culinary techniques and ingredients including all natural meats, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable, fresh fish. The presentation is clean, simple and natural. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the concepts in the food. Purchased in June 2005, the old A-frame structured house was renovated to create a space with award-winning design and remarkable ambiance. The modern yet comforting theme led to the bamboo bar and tables, the luminescent eco-panel wave of light, and natural color scheme. An open kitchen design allows for greater connection with guests and offers a personalized experience. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or sit by the warm fireplace in winter.
