The pulled pork was blah. The smoked turkey and ribs were okay but not outstanding. Nothing to write home about. The meal was... More

I decided to go in there one day, and of course they may have been having a bad day, But the service was like we were bothering them and I am telling you the BBQ was dry, really dry!!! Needless to say I have not been back.

There is little wonder why there are so many cars in the parking lot lunch or dinner. The brisket is amazing. That's what I would recommend.

While in Gillette on business and keeping to a Adkins diet, I decided to give Pokey's a try. Results are as follows: • I order 1 pound of sliced brisket (no BBQ sauce). Cooked perfectly; I'm from Texas, got a good feel for great BBQ. Enjoyed the next day for lunch • Enjoyed a trip to the complete "help yourself"... More

Fifteen minutes of being ignored after being sat at a booth was enough to convince us to go somewhere else.

if you are looking for authentic barbeque, this is the place to go. Rick does all his own smoking. We have had him do some of our Alaska halibut and salmon. We eat it sparingly cause it's so good. highly recommend you eat here.

We have been eating at Pokeys since they opened. Some of our favorites are the awesome salad bar, the brisket, the corn nuggets, smoked prime rib, the chicken fried steak. The smoked pork chop is right in there as well as the St Louis ribs. The service is good and we always feel well taken care of. Don't forget to... More

Been there twice. First time had the wings, which were pretty good. The second time I had the smoked brisket. The brisket was tasty but lukewarm. The fried okra tasted like it was frozen and was also lukewarm. The roasted corn was good. The salad bar was also good. The service at the bar was spotty both times. There are... More

I got the brisket which was great all on it's own but I couldn't get enough of the fried okra and fried potatoes!
