We once had some amazingly delicious cheese curds here...but that was years ago. Today's experience left our entire family disappointed. The place was packed, but it seems standards these days have been lowered. The fish was fishy and soggy, the homemade ranch from days past has been replaced by a thicker blander version, the potatoes tasted like Baco's, the fish... More

Visited Gray's Tied House today for lunch and came away very disappointed with their quality on some of their dishes. First I will give a positive for their Red Ale Reuben sandwich which was very good and tasty. A good amount of tender corned beef on good marble rye made a good sandwich. My wife's salad was well made, but... More

Had dinner here with wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. It's also a brew pub and sports bar. Good service, food, and craft beers.

We ate here a few weeks ago and went with a large party. The atmosphere was interesting and clean. The hostess was memorable by her inability to tell us how long the wait would be without conferring with her manager. They seemed to have no idea how to estimate how long it would take to seat a party of 10.... More

We chose Gray's Tied House as our before the show dinner location. We were attending an event at the Alliant Energy Center and wanted a place with decent parking and good cocktails. We started with a Blackberry Mule...Yummy!! We happened to be there on Monday burger night. They offer a nice discount if you order one you receive a discount... More

The staff was friendly and the root beer was good, but when I got my burger it was pink. Very disappointed considering it was burger night.

Large enough to accommodate the sports fans along with those who just want a night out. Nice facility with fairly rustic motif along with a outdoor area. Menu has depth and the servings are plentiful. Food is very good. Wait staff, young but they've been well trained.

We have a wonderful book on craft breweries in Wisconsin, and it has become our go-to guide for travel. On our way through Madison heading onto Spring Green for American Players Theatre, we zeroed in on Gray's Tied House as it was mentioned on the book. We had made reservations since we were arriving on a Friday night, and we... More
