Went for Friday Fish. Ordered cod. Everything came hot. Done perfectly. No complaints. Fries were in abundance!!! For a Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry it could not be better.

The bar has a wonderful vibe. The bartenders were equally nice. I only wish that we could've eaten dinner in this setting. (they only serve appetizers in the bar). The dining room is fine, but isn't as visually enticing.

We have eaten at Bootleggers on many occasions over the past 13 years and have never been disappointed. Everything we have had has been delicious. We especially like their tenderloin steak and the fish fry, as well as the perch.

Maybe I just visited on an off day but certain things weren't as good as they were. Trying to get a second wine didn't happen either. Would love to see this place have an overhaul, menu and otherwise. Much potential as there isn't another 1920's...More

The food is excellently prepared and the staff is exceptional. You can't go wrong if you are looking for an evening meal with gorgeous scenery of Lake Nokomis.

Very nice Dining decor. An interesting history with this place. The food is very good. The last couple time we've dined there, it's been busy. Service is good considering. Reservations should be made for groups 6 or more. Food was very good. Steaks were excellent....More

The parking lot was so icy we began the evening worried about getting back to our cars. Prime rib at $25 was 50% fat (or more). My wife asked for her steak to be med-well and it was bloody. No waitress came around to check...More

I have no idea, but we loved the place. The food and service were excellent. I ordered salmon. It was the best salmon I've ever had.
