We ate here last night and had a delicious meal with our 2 year old with whom we shared our Swedish meatballs. They were delicious and all three of us enjoyed them tremendously. The service was excellent and very family friendly. Plus the goats on...More

The goats weren't out due to the rain, but what a neat place. I was there when I was 18 and returned many years later. The food is GREAT! and the atmosphere is so worth the experience.

Go for a wonderful pancake breakfast, all day, and then watch the goats show off on the roof of the restaurant!! Goats may not be there after 1200 noon or during inclement weather.

We visit Al Johnson's every time we're in Door County. The food is fine, but the real draw is the atmosphere, the goats, and the gift shop. This trip I had eggs Benedict, which were cooked perfectly.

Very busy on a casual Saturday in May. Server was good and food was delivered quickly. Prices are fair for Door County, and you must stop in to see the goats on the roof of course.

We have had both breakfast and dinner here. Highly recommend the blue gill dinner on Friday evenings. The breakfast is good, but some items are a bit more basic. Staff is always friendly and fun to see the goats on the roof!

We stopped for lunch after the roofing of the goats. Considering how busy the day was for the restaurant, I had low expectations but wow! Both the food and the service was outstanding. The Swedish meatballs and the mash potatoes were delicious. As was the...More

I'm pretty sure they don't have a lunch portion per say. Ive had side portions as small as 4 meat balls per serving, and larger entrée portions. Make sure to get the gravy and a side of lingon berry. Plan on napping... More
