We ate a late lunch here last week. They have a broad menu, which allowed some of us to have breakfast, while I had lunch. A good stop.

A friendly, hometown cafe, this is worth every minute of your stop. Homemade everything breakfast, be sure to gobble up the biscuits and gravy... amazing! Also, take a walk on the unique side and order the pan-fried walleye for breakfast. The seasoning is delectable, and...More

Most of the recipes are from my grandmother. I couldn't be more proud. The potato pancakes are to die for and the homemade applesauce is like none other! Friendly staff. Best way to start the day up there! Great coffee. Fireplace too for chilly days.
The service was tasteless, unlike the food. The staff weren't very friendly and seemed to show favoritism towards previously-known customers. People would come in after we were seated, eat, and leave before we would even get our food. Good potatoes.
I didn't order it but I have heard the walleye and eggs is very good. First time I have ever seen that on a breakfast menu. The eggs are extremely fresh and they offer potato pancakes. Very cozy little place.
