The place is clean. Good customer service. The food was good. A huge pie selection. You can choose from breakfast all day and same with lunch, except mashed potatoes and gravy. The portions are good for what you pay for. The food was also good.

Some of the best potato pancakes I've ever had, also it's St. Patrick's day so they had authentic corned beef hash. That was also great!! Definitely worth the stop! Service was great also!

Enjoyed our annual morning after the gala and birthday breakfast at the Nook this morning. Hearty and delicious as always. Friendly staff.

You'll find Cafe style food with a Norwegian twist on many of the dishes. Pie, pie and pie! Come hungry, they will fill your belly. Price is fair. Don't miss the smothered omelet lefse wrap complete with hollandaise galore.

Norske's proved to be a great breakfast stop on our back to southern Wisconsin. This restaurant is very clean, has great prices and a variety of menu items. I ordered French Toast made with homemade cranberry and wild rice bread. It was delicious. My hubby had the special of eggs, potato rounds and homemade bread toast. He loved it! Our... More

Not many places serve delicious, filling, hearty meals like the Norske Nook does! Everything from the gravy to the roast beef is savory. My favorite is the open-faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Make sure to save room for dessert too - the pies are AMAZING!!

Three of us ate here and it was not a good experience. First, we waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came to our table and that was after I went and asked twice if anyone was assigned to our table. The food was nothing special either and I think overpriced. If you plan to go here, don't expect quick... More

We had stumbled upon the Norske Nook almost 10 years ago on a drive through Wisconsin. This time we planned our stop at the Rice Lake location for Lefse & Pie. Our server was friendly and very attentive. I had the special of beef tips over mashed potatoes (with a side of pretty tasteless corn) and my husband had the... More

Food and service was great. Had the Norwegian pancakes and they were just about as good as my moms!! Bought dome of the lefsa and it was great.

Had a really good meal at Norske Nook while travelling through Rice Lake. They have a variety of choices on the menu, including some Norwegian dishes. I had the luncheon special, a quiche, and my spouse had a meatball bread bowl. Both were excellent and the portions were hearty. There are many desserts to choose from and we had fun... More
