A lively, fun atmosphere and great food. They don't take reservations so you might have to wait, but it was worth it. We enjoyed the cheese curds – always a must in Wisconsin – and some other Swiss dishes such as meatballs, schnitzel, and rosti potatoes. A little expensive but very good portions. I'll definitely be back!

I did not know what to expect from this place the food was pretty good, little bit overpriced but pretty good. We definitely didn't leave hungry but it was a bummer that the cheese curds were over battered.

Loved their aged swiss cheese fondue. Our entrees were equally good. Try the roesti (I hope I am spelling that correctly). It is hash browns baked with swiss cheese. Yummy! We had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated, but the waitress was excellent....it was worth the wait. You can tell is good...lots of locals there.

Our waitress only took our order and brought our food to us. She never stopped back to make sure that everything was OK. The fish was OK but the Roesti was burned.... More

Wonderful experience! Service was friendly and fun! From the moment you enter this delightful Swiss Hamlet the magic begins. We started with cheese fondue. Buttery rich Swiss cheesy heaven!!! If I lived in New Glarus I could see wandering in on a Saturday afternoon for cheese and beer. The special of the evening was Sauerbraten, which two in our party... More
