We stopped in for coffee and were met by friendly, smiling faces and so much tempting bakery but alas, we were too full from lunch. The coffee is from ancora coffee roasters and was perfectly prepared.

Not only is Fat Cat Coffee Works the only restaurant open in New Glarus on Sunday morning they offer a wide variety of coffee drinks, quick breakfast options (amazing banana chocolate muffins) and breakfast scrambles. They also offer a few gluten free options! If you visit in the evening they offer a full beer and wine selection at a very... More

We stopped in to see the place and get dessert to go. Very nice place, with a small loft area for seating. The coconut cream pie was the best I have ever had.

We had bought bakery items and planned on getting our coffee at FatCat. We ended up buying breakfast and saved our baked goods for later in the day.

We visited New Glarus on a Tuesday and several restaurants I wanted to try were closed. That's when we stumbled into Fat Cat. Fat Cat serves a terrific lunch. The portions on the sandwiches and wraps were large so if you're not real hungry, consider buying one and sharing. The shrimp and corn meal soup was very good. Although we... More

We didn't eat there but had a cup of coffee. Enjoyable to sit at the sidewalk tables and people watch or just enjoy a sunny day.

We started out there for breakfast and were so impressed that we returned for lunch before leaving town. The owner is an amazing woman who does all the baking from scratch. We sat at the counter and watched her make pies while we ate. The best cinnamon rolls ever. I suggest you go for lunch and have the turkey/avacado sandwich.... More

Our family went to New Glarus for a family fest event September 11th. We decided to find a coffee shop. Trip advisor gave a good rating to Fat Cat. We were not disappointed. We ordered different coffee drinks as well as cupcakes and pie. Everything was very good. Definitely would revisit. A great coffee shop atmosphere in New Glarus.

Sadly a poor experience in many areas......We were rushed to order quickly, the special of the day (breakfast casserole) was so salty that it was nearly inedible. When my husband asked about the homemade pies, he was treated rudely with sharp, one syllable answers. We will not return.
