Very nice bar. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were very friendly. Busy, so go off hours on the weekend if you don't want to wait. Food was excellent as well.

I had dinner here with 4 friends for a post-Holiday celebration. We all enjoyed our meals and the fun atmosphere. We shared a couple of appetizers to start, the fried Brussel sprouts and the homemade potato chips. Both were excellent. Our waitress was very efficient...More

Stellar service on a busy Friday night!!! Yum fish, grouper sandwich, don’t find at too many places. Interesting sides with entrees, garlic mashed potatoes, carrots, not the usual boring and unhealthy French fries. And it is such a fun place!!!

When I say that every time I make lunch or dinner plans with someone & they ask me where we should go, this is the first place I recommend every single time, I’m not kidding. It’s small & typically busy but never too long of...More

Great lunch stop. Delicious sandwiches. This was a favorite for my coworkers while spending time in Milwaukee. FYI they don’t like splitting checks during lunchtime.

Decided to try the Swinging Door based on reviews and it did not disappoint. It was Friday night so we both opted for a Fish Fry. I choose Perch and my husband had the Cod. The Cod was superior but the Perch was still excellent,...More

Walked from the pfister, wasn't hungry but wanted to catch some football. Awesome, quaint, local bar/restaurant. Small bar area that was packed but employees were welcoming. Only 2 tv's but no biggie. Ordered great bloody Mary's, nice friendly server. We weren't hungry but hubby ordered...More

A Milwaukee classic. Menu has something for everyone. Friendly service! Mussels, shoestring onion rings and great build your own burgers. Consistently perfect.

Really good food and reasonably priced. Cozy atmosphere to idle the night away with friends! We went there before a show and did not have to wait for a table at all. Lucky night for us!

We had a beer at the bar while we were waiting for a table. My advice would be to arrive early there to get a table because it is quite crowded and that is always a good sign. I had fried fish and french fries...More

I'll be honest, I don't remember a tv outside of the bar area and the tables in the bar, as I recall, were 3 or 4 tops. We sat outside of the actual bar area so I can't say for sure if this is the place you're looking for... More

Walk-in only. Wait times may vary based on the number of people in your party. Smaller groups turn over more quickly. I think the others here answered excellently. Thanks for the question and thanks for the answers!

I'd get there around 5:30. Plenty of time for a few drinks and some awesome food.
