This is a perfect place to meet your love for a drink and nibble on some small plates. It's ideal after a movie: a cozy spot for a cocktail and conversation. It feels very European to me. Don't go if you're starving and need a massive meal. But do go if you want to share some yummy stuffed dates and... More

This place reminds me of tapas restaurants from 10 years ago when the entire draw was serving small plates and impressing you because of their tiny size. Dishes are expensive, quite diminutive, and taste mediocre at best. Our waitress was nice enough but clearly disinterested. Four people walking away from a meal still hungry, light in the pocket, and bored... More

Best item on the menu was the bacon wrapped stuffed dates. The other items we ordered were good but not as memorable as the dates.

Allium is located in a very inviting space. It's small and homey. Very good beer selection, personable service. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. We started with the mushroom and lentil soup which tasted good but was barely warm. The white pizza came on a plate with no garnish. The crust was a little tough. The smoked trout appetizer... More

Value was phenomenal. Had a split pea curry soup that was amazing 4$ then had a cheese plate but the waitress had no clue where the cheeses were from (big turnoff if you are not from Wisconsin) . Then had the lasagna for dinner and that was also amazing. Overall a great experience and hopefully you will have better service!

Allium has a wonderful wine selection that your bartender or server will be glad to go over and make recommendations for you. Their small plates are to die for and made with local ingredients as much as possible. The home made seasonal soups are fantastic. Beer selection is unique. Although the food is very good, what I love most is... More

Have been here many times. Very relaxed atmosphere. Staff and ever present owner make the place awesome.

Great place in a super, east side location. Whatever has occupied this space in the past has always been decent, but Allium is wonderful and I really hope they dominate this real estate for years to come. We didn't dine there so much as we noshed there. Paired with a couple of glasses of New Glarus Snowshoe Ale, we had... More

This is without question one of out favorite places on the near East side. We first experienced this restaurant approximately a year and a half ago and have consistently been pleased with the service, the variety on the menu, and the tasty meals that are prepared by Tim. Allium continues to grow in popularity on the east side. It has... More
