They have excellent burgers, fries, and onion rings. It was a great place to visit. Since I live in the area I will probably go there again.

Recently went to Village Green and chose the French Dip special. It was excellent. Plenty of tender, well seasoned beef, a good bun and good dippin au jus. Service was good as well.

Very expansive neighborhood tavern known for cheap pitchers of beer and better-than-average bar burgers. The fried green beans are underrated. Service is downright homey.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening and had a cold beer and a burger. What a great burger. And the beer. Ice cold! Very nice staff. Folks at the bar seemed very friendly. Nice crowd. Stop in, you won't be disappointed. Have a burger and a beer.

Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. The Village Green is one of those neighborhood bars where you feel comfortable when you walk in and probably stay longer than you planned. The items on the menu are all prepared to perfection and the drinks selection will satisfy anyone. Great service rounds out all you need in a place to hang... More

Village Green definitely has that townie bar feel to it. Great burgers and other classic foods. Good place to grab a beer and lunch or dinner.

Typical pub. Good food, craft beers. Spouse had prime rib sandwich and sweet potato fries. I had a patty nelt and spicy pub chips with sour cream sauce. Very reasonably priced. Outdoor seating available.

This is a great place for a quick or lingering bite, not a fancy place for dinner. I think it's big with locals. They offer a pretty good range of beer. Onion rings are good. On a nice day, you can sit outside and do some people watching. Servers are friendly. A great spot for lunch.

I've been dining at the Village Green for 5 years. I have found the service to be friendly and not rushed. The menu is simple, but the food is good - mostly burgers and fries. I like the fried green beans as an alternative to regular fries. I recommend the chimichanga supreme or the Bass Ale beer battered fish. .

The Village Green has been a downtown Middleton destination for good Wisconsin "bar food" for years. I can't remember when we first started going to the Village Green, but I know it was in the 70s; and ever since they've been serving great burgers and fries. Nothing exceedingly special, but always reliably good. The wait-staff is friendly, experienced and efficient;... More
