Their California roll was good but their chicken teriyaki was yucky. The salad was good but the soup tasted blah. Maybe other things on the menu are good but haven't tried anything else.

We live close to this restaurant, and usually, it's pretty good for sushi, sashimi, salads, and rolls. This time we were in, though, we were seated right away, but then completely ignored for over 20 minutes. No drink orders, water--nothing. So we left. Rarely do we walk out of a place, but rarely are we just forgotten. A fluke? I... More

We went there with a groupon, the place is very small and no decor at all, the ambiance is very poor. The service was I would say ok, we didn't have any problem with the owner or anybody else but it was very slow even when there were about 10 customers only. The food I admit it has a very... More

We ha Calamari and Shu Mai for apps. Both were a very good start.Calamari was crisp and hot from the kitchen. The Shu Mai was a light tasty beginning. The combination plate of sushi was appealing both to the eye and the taste buds. The Miso soup and the salad of lettuce was nothing special. My chicken Yalasoba was also good... More

Not many Japanese restaurants serve takoyaki. This is the first one I've ever seen. The interior is small but it was beautiful nonetheless. I especially love the tucked away seating area (with the Japanese style table). The service was just as I would expect coming from an Asian restaurant. Not the best but good enough. When you go to a... More

I don't get to enjoy sushi as often as I would like, as my wife is not a fan. But I have been enjoying the experience at Midori since just after they opened (200x?), and I've never been disappointed with the meal or the service. A family affair, they offer the full range of rolls to sashimi, and the quality... More

I wanted to give Midori a second chance, but unfortunately, had an identical experience. The owner, Midori herself, is quite unfriendly and, oddly, began promoting a skin care product that she sells-it sounds like a pyramid scheme. She inserted herself into our conversation and even brought over her Ipad to show us more about this product. She actually did not... More

The fish is fresh and there is a good selection of sushi. My husband and I usually split the Love Boat, and there is plenty to satisfy 2 adults who love sushi and sashimi. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. We've eaten at Midori many times over the years and have never had a bad meal.

The food is usually good here. Both standard Japanese dishes and fresh Sushi are available. Small plates, rolls, main courses, etc. Prices are reasonable. Service is OK. The atmosphere can be a bit bland. Parking is plentiful.
