Decided to go here off a whim and we should've kept going. The water was well water and it tasted and smelled like it. The perch I tried was decent but small. The waitress was friendly and tried her best to accommodate.

My family and I went here to celebrate two birthdays. The food was amazing and our waitress Jill was awesome. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The guys ordered prime rib and both agreed that it was the best they've ever had. It was very tender and cooked to perfection- without tasting like raw meat. Everyone had good food.... More

Quirky and fun, great Bloody Marys, loved the onion strings. We missed the wonderful spinach salad (not served in the winter) but the Walleye was outstanding. One of us had the bluegill fish fry - fish was good but batter was thick and kind of greasy. Cool to read the old newspapers on the wall about Dillinger's gang hanging out... More

I visited the restaurant during the holiday week between Christmas and New Year's. We had enjoyed numerous meals there in the past. This visit was disappointing. The menu is very limited for being a holiday week. I thought it was very pricey. Average meals were $26-$28. They came with soup or salad. The salad was iceberg lettuce. 10 people were... More

GREAT food and excellent service! Did I mention we (a party of 4) were the only people in the restaurant that evening (Monday night of the annual deer hurting season)? That aside, we really appreciated the attention we were given, and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner that evening. Even though you may never have the opportunity we had, don't miss Little... More

I have been stopping at Little Bohemia for years now. I am very impressed with their steaks and prime rib which is featured on Saturday nights. They serve a fun and unique small appetizer tray before your meal. Unusual spreads with crackers, bread, veggies, etc. Staff is attentive. It is a must see if you haven't been there since Public... If you eat at one place in Vilas county, eat at little bohemia. The place has a great feel and a well earned reputation ad a famous retreat for 1930's gangsters.

Someone please train waitstaff on the finer points of good boundaries, versus the trendy gallup up and interrupt that happens so often lately. Place had two other tables, so I know the young lady wasn't rushed and nervous. If she had been more respectful of the guests and our need to visit, the lackluster, greasy, overpriced pasta may have been... More

Food was GREAT - I had the Duck it's was delish! This time service was much better, actually very good, vs. our last visit (food was good that time too). This time they had some kidney bean salad on the relish tray - OMG!!!! I could have made a meal out of that, the rolls and the chicken noodle soup.

We spend our time in the bar. Nice big stone gas fireplace was going which was cozy. We got a menu for dinner and it was fairly limited in choices. I ended up just getting the french onion soup and an order of garlic bread. Everyone agreed that the food was just okay. Not bad, but nothing special. Prices kind... More
