Dinner took forever. The steak was cooked wrong and had little flavor. The atmosphere is cool, but not worth an overpriced eliw average meal. The creme brulee was the o key good dish. Btw, when they messed up our steak we sent it back and...More
Such a beautiful historical home! Our dining was a gourmet experience. The setting made one feel like you were dining in an 1800 parlor. The food was perfectly prepared, and the wine was chilled just right. We were there for an anniversary dinner. A lovely...More
We stayed at the sister property, Maxwell Mansion, and decided to have dinner at the Baker House, a short walk away. Both the service and the food were slow in coming and only satisfactory at the most on quality. It was disappointing given the hype...More

Went for the brunch and loved it! Great atmosphere...we sat at a little table with family room style chairs. Good assortment of food spread out in multiple rooms of the mansion. Food tastes great and our server was very attentive...she filled my Champaign glass almost...More

The Baker House is beautifully decorated and a nice location. We have probably been there a half dozen times prior to Saturday evening. As to the food, one person at our table had the stuffed chicken and enjoyed his selection; two others had salmon and...More
Yes. The entire lower floor is wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp on the side of the building near the back. It's not too cramped, either, which is nice. Give them a call to let them know you're in a wheelchair so they're... More

If he brings your bags to the room, turns on the fire place, turns the bed down, I usually provide a $5, then I provide a note of thanks and a larger amount in an envelope at the front desk with his name on it based on how much he assisted during my stay. They will bring breakfast in the morning, I would say $10-20 based again on how much they assisted during your stay. It can get a little tricky if the butler changes during your stay.
