I have been to Fayze's 3 times now. It's very popular in LaX. There's always a very long wait for dinner on the weekends. The dinner menu is much better than the lunch menu. Today I was there for a late lunch with 5 friends and none of us were very impressed. The chicken bacon mac & cheese was average,... More

Fayze's is well known for it's bakery items. There can be a very long wait for a table, but the food is good enough to justify the wait. We were there for lunch, but you could also order breakfast items.

Fayze's is one of the longest-open restaurants in town, and its role, for those from elsewhere to understand, is as the place where locals eat. It's good, but short of fine, dining and as such fits a niche. It is on 4th St., the main northbound thoroughfare, in the center of shopping, hotels, entertainment, and an increasing urban residential zone.... More

Sine we got into town about 7pm, We ordered take out on a Friday night. It took an hour, but it was great! So great, we went back the next day for lunch. We waited again about 30 minutes, but he here was a bar area we had drinks in before being seated. I ordered something different and it was... More

We were there with a group. The service wass fantastic and the prices were reasonable. They have a good beer selection. My fish tacos were not great. A cube of fried cod in a wet tortilla. Other dishes in the group looked much better.

This place is really big. It surprised us. And very busy. Waite staff was great. Food was nice size for lunch. Not too big and not too small. Price was all around $10. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was great. Soups really good also. I did not have a cinnamon roll but they where HUGE and looked so good I almost... More

At first, we drove right past the restaurant (following GPS directions) because there isn't a lot of signage in the front. Parking in downtown La Crosse is always an issue, but we walked into the restaurant at 9:45 and were seated after a brief 5 min. wait. The staff was friendly and our waiter was excellent, and the food was... More

We stopped in for a late lunch and with a one year old they had no problems. They were very attentive and meet the allergy needs for my daughter and grandson. The Cod dinner was done to perfection with a super size serving of tasty French fries. The soup of the day Clam chowder and while it did not have... More

My family and I ate at Fayze's one evening before going to see the Rotary lights by the river. Like the main drag location in a historical bldg. Food was definitely homemade and not prefab. The chicken salad sandwich on cranberry rye that I had was very good. Service was decent but not outstanding. The waiter we had did a... More

Well, where to start.... Food had little to no flavor, the bread was hard and day old+, the service was poor, and don't even order a drink! We got the wrong drink made the wrong way (not over ice, blended). Save your money and go to a fast food place!
