We really enjoyed the food and service was exceptional. Then we went to the restroom that was very dirty and hadn't he been cleaned in months. We were scared to wash our hands in there. Also the restroom was not handicap accessible which we didn't care for.

We were in La Crosse visiting my daughter who attends college at UWL. After a morning of shopping, we wanted to try something new for lunch. My daughter had heard about Fat Sam's Main Street Bistro from a friend so we decided to try it. No regrets about this decision. We had cheeseburger chowder soup, the TNT BLT, and the... More

We ate here on a family visit on a Thursday. Not busy at all. The menu is sandwiches and a few salads. It's not a pretty place... but that matters not because the sammies are amazing!!! I had the loaded Rueben. BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! Hands down. It was huge and it had bacon... nuff said. My wife had a... More

You won't want to beat down the door to get here but if you're in town and need lunch I would recommend. Had the Boss...turkey and pastrami on rye with spicy dressing. Good.

We stopped here for lunch after finding it online. We wanted to avoid the chains and Fat Sam's is a good local choice. A wide variety of sandwiches. We had 3 different sandwiches and they were all very good. Our waitress was good and when my wife asked about the chicken salad, she let her try some. Atmosphere was a... More

Everything here is amazing! We were looking for a non-chain place for lunch. Located in downtown LaCrosse- quaint atmosphere- kids had enough options too. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich- fantastic. My husband and father-in-law shared a Pastreuben and Chuck Norris because they couldn't decide which one to order. The Pastreuben was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had-... More

Wow! What a great place. When walking by, you wouldn't believe how great the restaurant is, even late at night. Our party came in at 815 pm and the food was still amazing. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgable. We will definitely be back!

I don't even need to write anything here, a sandwich restaurant called Fat Sam's you should just assume that it is amazing. On a real note this place is incredible and not that expensive. One of my local favorites!!

I had the cheese and tomato sandwich and it was so good I have been hesitant to branch out and try something new. I have started branching out and it is all great. The olive burger is just ok. The artichoke dip is the best I have ever had.
