La Crosse is a city of many great restaurants but this one is both excellent and unique in a crowded field. This is without question the best Cajun restaurant in the area offering catfish, alligator, and Po'Boys. The vibe is excitement, the menu is New Orleans, and the decor is as eclectic as a Cajun restaurant in WI. Stop in,... More

From the walls, the memorabilia, the staff, the food... it is all good. Have tried numerous dishes. The chicken fettuccine and the Cajun trio are the top 2. Great beer selection.

Our first visit to this restaurant and we will return! Amazing New Orleans style Cajun cuisine and some of the friendliest staff I have met in any restaurant. Well done Buzzard Billy's, you got it right on every count.

I typically eat at non-chain restaurants, and as I researched this place, I realized it was a (smallish) chain and was hesitant to go. However, it was close at hand after a long day, so two colleagues and I went in. The menu has a wide selection of Cajun and Creole dishes, from Po boys to etouffee. I had the... More

If you don't have the time or money to visit NOLA this is the place to go. Large selection of beer and food. All wonderful. Visited off-season on a Thursday, so plenty of seating.

Alligator fries! Very good beer selections. Interesting and well made entrees. The restaurant feels old and rustic. Both times we've been there the waitresses have been very friendly and very helpful in choosing the meal that fit the mood we were in. We had almost as much fun choosing the meal as we did eating it.

I had the Seafood Eggplant Pirogue and my husband had Chicken Czarina. My was perfect but I had to admit, I couldn't eat it all so enjoyed it for lunch again the next day. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his but said it was a little on the spicy side but not hot.
