Everyone at Blind Horse is great. Both the winery and the restaurant. But Joyce in the winery makes your day. She is friendly and upbeat. She introduces you to other couples. She makes you feel special. She is overall an incredible woman. Thank you.

We have eaten here a couple of times and both times the food and service were excellent. The filet was the most tender I've had. It was a perfect rare. Uniquely presented. A nice bar area also. Winery and gift shop are next to the...More

Went here during the summer with my wife. The grounds are lovely and it wasn't crowded on the weekday we went. We tried several of the wines and especially liked the Dam Sire, a red. We also tried the signature scallop appetizer which is a...More

We were searching around and found the Blind Horse on our last night in Kohler. It was perfect! Several of us had Lobster Ravioli which was just the right amount and very tasty. Excellent service and a great white wine

Every trip to the Sheboygan area ALWAYS includes dinner here with my family. We love it that much! The menu is kept interesting and well constructed, as is the wine list serving the lovely wines from the adjacent winery. The food, the service, and the...More

EmAnn, I was just curious where you sat when you were at The Blind Horse? My wife and I were there with another couple and had just a fantastic time. Granted it is tight seating but what do you expect on Valentine's Day in a old rustic farm house, turned restaurant, stuck out in the woods? I'm not sure the place can even sit 60 but I think there had to have been at least twice that for dinner. The food was, and always has been for us, just like it has always been, very good. Unpalatable is pretty strong wouldn't you say? Not sure I would stack this place side by side to McDonalds, just saying. I almost question your desert comment... yes, I'm sure they probably were premade but I saw table after table finishing every plate. Besides it was in little crispy pastry shells. Unless something was spilled on your desert I'm not sure how it could have been soggy. Just wanted to give some balance to the night. Interested why you didn't review this place after the first time you went and "loved it"?
