We stop here every time we drive west from Milwaukee - their bakery items are to die for! Huge pastries, donuts, cream puffs, elephant ears, bars, cookies for cheap!! Don't miss this hidden diamond.

The Pine Cone is one of those places that if you are traveling and pass through Johnson Creek you have to stop at for a meal. Yes, it is a truck stop, but they also have a sit down dining room and the majority of the people here are not truckers. First in you will see a bakery case with... More
We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday and the place was packed! We had to wait about 15 minutes in a line that moved steadily but you could gaze upon the amazing baked goods in the bakery case as you waited. Don't plan on having an intimate conversation while you are here, as it is noisy with as busy as... More
Makes a great meeting spot for great food and I always leave with some doughnuts to go!! Also like their dinner specials never leave hungry that's for sure!
If you stop for nothing else, the baked goods are to die for. Outstanding every time I stop. This is worth a special trip.

Only bought bakery here - eclairs, cream puffs, cookies, etc are super huge and delicious! (Think the size of a dinner plate almost!) A must stop after hitting the outlet stores (right next to them).
Enjoyed our meal here! Hubby had fish and they were perfectly cooked as well as being real. We always worry about what other places call "fish" but were not disappointed at all. Real mashed potatoes, real butter, great rolls. Thanks Pine cone restaurant.
Leave room for dessert.Their soups are hearty and their specials include a lot of side dishes to make you full.
