My wife and I always stop at Czarnuskas Soups Bar for afternoon lunch with a bowl of soup or chili. I love the different types of soup to choose from!
Love this place. Always make a few stops here when in Door County. Never disappointed. Soups are home made and delicious. The chili made on Saturday is wonderful with a bit of a bite. Recently had a bowel of tomato Florentine which was terrific. We always take some frozen quarts home too. This is a small place decorated with Polish... More
In the dead of winter, you don't find many places open for business in Door County. So glad Czarnuszka is a year-round eatery! The restaurant is tucked into a tiny building at the back of a small cluster of shops in Ephraim. There's not much signage along highway 42 to alert you to its presence so you have to really... More
Friendly place off the beaten path in Ephram. It is worth the search to find as it is tucked in, off of the main drag.. Good fresh soup daily.
I am very particular when it comes to soup having been spoiled by a couple great soup places in Milwaukee, WI where I live. As far as I'm concerned, Czarnuszka would compete for great soup no matter where it was located. Don't be shy about asking the owner about ingredients if you are not familiar with Czech cooking -- doing... More
Anyone familiar with Door County in the fall after Oct. 31 is aware of the sporadically open businesses. We had heard "rave reviews" about Czarnuska Soup Bar. We checked the times that this tiny restaurant was open and drove there. As we were parking the car, we observed a man locking the Soup Bar's door, walking to his car to... More
Quirky little soup place that was excellent! He makes 4 homemade soups a day. He also makes his own rolls. Both were just excellent. I had a potato soup and my husband had chicken Florentine.
I'm Czech and I love the Czech offerings at Czarnuszka's, Great Czech soups that anyone will love as all are scratch made.
Second time here, but it's been a while. This is a very small place, but has a few tables. Not much of a menu, he makes a few soups per day I believe. It is as the name implies, but the soups we have had are very good and creative. It is really good if you just want something quick... More
