The food here is always amazing!! Although the everything on the menu is extremely delicious and made in-house, I would highly recommend trying the daily special as Emily can whip up some really interesting and flavorful sandwiches/salads/pastas, etc. An absolute staple though is the cornbread!

This is one of our favorite places to stop. Gratis drinks, neat atmosphere and great food you would not expect in a bar!

From the moment you pull up to The Brown Baer, you know you're about to have an experience. Currently the Christmas tree out front is decorated with PBR cans and the roof top porch is adorned with various tappers. The inside is an absolute collection of anything and everything. A Saddle and swings for seats, other seats are all different,... More

First... the menu posted on TripAdvisor is totally bogus. The bartender told me it would cost a lot of money to have it removed. Seriously? I am trying to post a phot of the REAL menu. For bar food, the selection is well above average, but far from the fine dining menu items posted on TripAdvisor. Based on the fake... More

Maybe the decor needs a lift but you cannot beat the food here and Matt the bartender is beyond awesome. So personable and runs a great bar. Everything on the menu is really pretty darn terrific. LOVE the chicken caesar salad. HUGE and fabulous. Great decorations at Halloween and holidays. I've always loved a stop at The Baer!

Any expectations we had of a local bar/restaurant with average bar food were shattered here. This place is 99% bar, with a couple small tables as an afterthought. The menu changes frequently, from what I could tell, and is written on a chalkboard. Good prices on beer, and it was decorated to the hilt for Halloween--quite festive. My husband ordered... More

Saw a lot of reviews about the Brown Baer, so we were excited to check it out. It's a pretty local-looking bar, with better than decent bar food. It's decor is swap shop meets junk yard...a lot of reclaimed furnishings and decorations. The wings were pretty good. I've had much better, but these were simply pretty good. I had the... More

Get the wings!! They were steamed for 4hrs in beer and completely fall off the bone! Bartenders were great and very attentive. Fun activities...darts, pool, hula hoops. Not much seating though. We all got burgers and they were super juicy. Sides have to be ordered separately though. Hidden gem!

So we went for dinner and found the reviews on line to be misleading. It's a bar. One large corner table, maybe one or two other small tables, maybe three couches, the rest is a bar. There are these funky swings from the ceiling. There is at least one pool table. Food is fair. You order at the bar and... More
