Comfortable, casual atmosphere. Great service; food is even better! Wanted to try everything! Boudin ball app just like NOLA! Big wine and beer list. Must give this place a try.

How about bacon and broccoli pizza with horseradish cheddar cheese, red onions and garlic on a crispy crust? Delicious. Cuban sandwich served as a quesadilla -- on appetizer list but nice size for lighter entrée which would not leave you hungry. Plus we were able to share a crème brule with Grand Marnier for dessert. Always items to select for... More
Busy place in downtown Elkhart Lake. Food was delicious and the drinks were tasty, too. Was a bit crowded but our wait wasn't that long. We grabbed a seat at the bar with a window view out onto the street. Great time!
This isn't your average pub/bar with pedestrian fare and drinks. The wine list is off the charts crazy with unreal prices. The verticals alone are worth the drive from Milwaukee (or Chicago for that matter). The lobster bisque is sublime. Pair that with any of their exceptional whites and you'll be in heaven!!! Menu ranges from soups, salads etc. to... More
we stopped for lunch and the food was very good, menu had enough variety. no complaints. the service was efficient and the atmosphere was1950's, but clean.
Driving through Elkhart Lake is always a pleasure, even on a gloomy day in March. Hungry for something new and interesting, we parked in front of Lake Street Cafe and was greeted with happy smiles and bright blue chairs! A large mural in bold colors glowed even though the skies outside were grey. The staff was pleasant and accommodating even... More
great food and friendly service the menu also has a lot to offer and a surprising number of choices if your at one of the hotels or resorts or your there for the race track it is well worth a short drive into the little town !
We were visiting Elkhart Lake and decided to stop here for lunch. We had no idea what to expect but I'm glad we decided to give it a try. The decor was great! They have a pretty big bar as well. We ordered the three cheese panini and the shaved ham and Brie panini and it hit the spot. Their... More
First, save time to review the amazing wine list. What a surprising list for a small town establishment. Second, don't miss the luxurious lobster bisque. It's a must. All dishes are delicious in this lively, usually crowded but casual eatery again, with THE most surprising wine list! We found wines and vintages at prices that are quite reasonable as well as... More
The menu seemed to have a little something for every palate, with a wide selection if dishes in all price ranges. I had a pizza and a cup of the lobster bisque. Both were tasty and resonably priced. The decor includes many old Schlitz advertisements and other retro signage.

My family is flying in from FL and we are renting a house for 4 days this weekend. They are native Wisconsinites and haven't been home for over 15 years so they want to go out for a Friday fish fry. Would you please tell me what kind of fish you serve, what is included on your fish fry's and the prices? Do you serve broiled or baked fish also? I want to share the interesting fact that we are all in our 50's and as young children in the early 60's we grew up in Elkhart Lake. We lived above your place! It was an apartment above a grocery store at the time called "Peter's Market". So as you can imagine, your place already has some significant appeal to us so we want to come check your place out this weekend. Thanks for your time.
