I ordered the Supper Club Shrimp and it was GREAT! I've eaten here numerous times recently and all of my food has been excellent. I guess if I have a problem with my food I tell the server or a manager and get a replacement until I get what I want. But, I've never had that problem here. It seems... More

We went to 1855 last night for a birthday celebration & was not very impressed. The service was great but not the food. We had a burger(which was dry. He ordered it well done but even McD's can make a juicy well done burger), a chimichanga (which my daughter said was good); and I had fajitas. The steak was grisly,... More

We were celebrating a birthday on a weeknight so it was easy to get seated. The service was prompt. The food was very good. Two of us had pasta dishes and I had the Cajun salmon which was very tasty. Would return again for a meal.

On a weekday in February we were headed to another restaurant, a fair distance away, for lunch, when we received a phone call that the party we were to meet could not make it. What to do, continue another 1/2 hour, or divert to alternate location. We were close to the 1855 Grille and like the atmosphere and menu. A... More

Tried this place based on a recommendation from friend. I wasn't sure what to expect since the reviews from other Yelper's was limited and not favorable. The place was busy and packed with customers. There was a musician playing live music, which added a nice touch. The facility is designed and made to feel like an old rustic building turned... More

Nice atmosphere. Service was prompt and server was very nice. Food came quickly and was nicely presented. Portions were very good. Food was very tasty and everyone liked what they ordered. Tacos, French dip, and Cubano. Had read reviews on other sites that had some complaints but we found nothing to fault here and considered it excellent. This was a... More

My husband and I had just finished hiking 10 miles on the adjacent Glacial Drumlin Trail and were tired and hungry. I was aware that we were probably gross from our hike but based on 1855's proximity to the path, I was hoping that it was casual and used to accommodating hikers. It was definitely fancier than I'd expected but... More

Very good food. 1855 was able to accomodate a large group of 13. Very good service. Free dessert on birthdays too.
