We saw this on an "Only in Wisconsin" FB post. Called made reservations. We drove 115miles to give it a try. From the mixologist to our server, EVERYTHING was wonderful! The Bourbon/Whiskey selection is outstanding, and suggested pairings were well appreciated. The owner came over towards the end of our meal and introduced herself and thanked us for making the... We dined here last night with a few friends. I too, like a previous reviewer was quite disappointed with the attitude of the staff. No one seemed very happy - the bartender, the person who seated us as well as our waitress. Our waitress was rude from the start to finish. It felt like we were an inconvenience. We've been... More

Our group of four had reservations for a Saturday evening. We had wanted to go the week before, but they were completely booked. Reservations definitely recommended! We got there about 30 minutes prior to our reservation time of 7:15. Checked in with hostess and went to the bar that seats about 12. The bartender was very friendly and served us... More

The sleepy little burn of Collins, Wisconsin doesn't have much more than a few old buildings that have seen far better days, not to mention you have to drive over a marsh to get there. But amongst all that you'll find a little restaurant that is uncharacteristically hip in the middle of it all, Al Corso. As strange as it... More

We were taking a different route home, going through the countryside when it was dinnertime. We saw this little place in Collins, Wisconsin and decided to stop and eat. When we came in we were asked, "Do you have a reservation?" That startled us in such an out-of-the-way place. We said, "No." The woman said we were in luck, there... More

Collins Wisconsin is at the edge of a wildlife area visited by flocks of birds; al corso is visited by flocks of foodies from miles around. In a lovingly restored old building Al corso is top notch from bar to table. Excellent cocktails, good wine list with interesting pairings , a menu full of terrific choices: the soups are superb,... Walked in with no idea what to expect and right away we were impressed. Very pretty space, warm wood, soft lighting and super friendly staff welcoming us from all sides. I had noted in my reservation that we were there for an anniversary dinner and all of the staff seemed to have been advised as many told us happy anniversary... More

Something has changed at Al Corso and not for the better! When your watress is curt, short, and generally acting as if she is doing you a favor by waiting on you, it offsets the quality of the food. Either the lamb was tough or my knife dull, it did not measure up to previous similar meals I have enjoyed... More

Al Corso is one of my favorite restaurants! I have dined at Al Corso many times and I have had a great meal each time. I LOVE the beet salad and the home-made dressings for the dinner salad. Hands-down one of the best restaurants in NE WI!
