Came for the ghosts...didn't get to see them. However, we heard wonderful ghost stories from the owner & locals. The ghost bomb was awesome. We had a great time!

I really liked the burger I had there, however I would say the owner and his stories drove me nuts. The place is definitely not haunted and is more of a psychological reasoning behind it along with the lighting.

Historic building that served as a bordello back in the railroad days. The site of murders / deaths back in the day. Purported to be haunted. Good food. Very friendly service. BC ... the owner... is friendly, fun, and likeable. Go there for a Packers game or, better yet, one of their "Dinner with the Dead" screening events. Historic charm.

Extremely disappointing. Went for their "best in town" prime rib Saturday. Not even close. The only way I was able to even swallow that swill was by silently chanting to myself "your paying $20 for it." Maybe the typical bar food is eatable but definitely not the prime rib.

My husband and I just returned to visit the Baraboo area and made sure we stopped in to visit this place again. We love the atmosphere, love the food and love the staff. If you like ghost stories, like a good drink and like to eat, this will be a wonderful experience for you. We find it strange that anyone... More

Their stay in their suites was horrible.! We found mouse droppings on the floor, a pipe, and not to mention cigarettes and a crack spoon hidden on top if the cabinets! Their was also a hole in the ceiling with what I thought was black mold!!! To me this place should be SHUT down!!

We go out for fish every friday night and thought we would try this place. 3/1/13. It was warm inside. The seating area is small and dark and about 5 feet from the bar. I asked for more lights but they said there was none. Just beer signs were our light. Soda is by cans only but only a dollar... More

This place is easy to pass, but that's the deal with most "gems" of the area which get far less credit than they deserve. I'm from Indiana and recommend this place to everyone. I loved it. I was treated like a friend. The food (I had their knee-bending prime rib) is just killer with flavor and is carefully prepared. The... More

We stopped at the Old Baraboo Inn on Saturday the 3rd of October 2009. The atmosphere inside the bar/restaurant is awesome! It is supposedly haunted and we did hear some strange knocks. The bar is solid wood and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a family owned establishment, and we like to go to those... More
