The turkey melt I had was very tasty. Plenty of turkey and just the right amount of crunch to the bread. Frank did his usual great job waiting on our table and the price was perfect.

Jen's is a classic diner in a classic diner. Vintage restaurant with little to no remodeling in the dining room since, I don't know, the 40's? It's a step back in time. Love that Jen is in the kitchen cooking down home meals with little pretense. Very good soups, sandwiches, breakfasts, etc. This used to be my go to place... More

Located in town....one way street. Name is on the canopy outside below the big Alpine sign. We missed it the first drive by. When you open the door, you feel like you are back in time. Friendly wait staff. Cozy private booths....love the wood/mirror details. My husband ordered the Hungry Man's Breakfast which is 2 eggs,2 bacon or sausage, hashbrowns and... More

Jen's has a great old fashioned ambiance with a solid breakfast and sandwich menu. It's a nice place to relax. Everything is always great and they are known for their pancakes and homemade soups. What doesn't get a lot of attention is that they also have great pies.

This is an old 1930s high-end cafe with the original decor. Lunch menu was mainly the usual burgers and sandwiches but there were a few surprises. I had the 'chili parfait' which was chili-con-carne layered with elbow macaroni, topped with cheese and sour cream. Not the very best chili I have had but quite tasty all of the same. Service... This place is a true representation of the days long ago in Baraboo. It is like stepping back in time for me. You know you are at a great place when the locals gather here. As people come thru the door most of them were greeted by name. it was easy to feel right at home....... I have been here... More
