Stopped for lunch and got way more food than we could eat. The General Tso's Chicken was hot and plentiful but not as spicy as I prefer. The egg roll was tasty but not as hot as it should be. The Pork Fried Rice was a huge mound of very tasty rice. I'd say we probably only finished about half... More

This is the Chinese restaurant everyone in Martinsburg knows. This is what you think of when you think of a Chinese restaurant. They have great food, and treat you well, I have never been disappointed here.

Disgusting. I will never order from here again! Chicken was hard, sauces had no flavor. General So's chicken was dark meat and soggy.

Peking is a great Chinese buffet. The selection is more limited than other restaurants, but the quality is noticeably better. I think the buffet may only be available on Sunday afternoon.

A lot of people rave about peking however it is average to me. I have been several times and the food just doesn't seem to be fresh even if i watch them bring it out.

Take the family and order family style for the best bargain and sit back and relax while Irving, Peiann, or Alex serve you. For the cocktail drinkers try their outstanding MaiTai or Kane's special. Punch is available for the younger set.

When I moved to Martinsburg almost 30 years ago, the Peking Restaurant was already there, but not at the present location. The food is good, but geared more to the American palate. Since I was raised in the Southeast Asia area, my exposure to Chinese food is different. But I still enjoy eating at the Peking, and will continue to... More

I was in a week prior to this review and the food was good. Tonight's visit how ever was a complete 360! The crab rangoon were crabbier than any I've had but we're not very tasty. We ordered beef & broccoli and general taos chicken. Neither were flavorful and the general taos was sweet (normally spicy). Even the egg rolls... More

I have grown up with the Peking. They are locally owned and take what they do very seriously. The atmosphere is understated but authentic. The food and service are exemplary. I enjoy the egg drop soup and General Tsao will not disappoint. Try a Kane's Special cocktail and you will leave with a smile!
