We arrived at 1:59 pm. The buffet was plenty and they were polite. My husband's favorite was the tabbouleh, cucumber yogurt, and falafel. I really liked the fatoush. If we are ever back in Charleston, WV, we would return.

Tasty cuisine. Please disregard the xenophobic comments of others here. The service is excellent too.

This is my favorite downtown lunch spot. They offer delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. It is buffet style. I love the baba ganoush, falafel, and tabouleh. They usually have tasty pasta dishes and roasted veggies. Good option for vegetarians and meat eaters too. Open for dinner on Friday nights - you can BYOB on Friday evenings.

I love to eat Sahara buffet. For the price it's hard to beat. All the dishes are prepared fresh daily and taste delicious. The roasted chicken, shawarma and curry chicken are my favorite dishes. I try to go here often when I'm back home.

This is a anti-Christian business, we were clearly informed upon our entrance. We were there for a party, left immediately and will not return. We were told the food was okay but not something to return for. We felt unwelcome and insecure so we left.

Good variety of Middle East Foods on a self service buffet. Owners are hosts and do a good job. Often crowded.

Excellent buffet. I eat there with a vegetarian friend and we both find plenty of choices. The little pita pizzas are excellent and the eggplant dishes are (no surprise) particularly good. The meat dishes are good but the vegetarian dishes are outstanding. If I have a complaint it's that the buffet usually has exactly the same dishes on it. A... More

Sahara gives you a good ethnic alternative in Charleston, but they mainly serve lunch and do catering. They only are open for dinner on Friday evening, and then until 8:30 pm. The buffet is inexpensive for what you get (under $15/person in June 2012) - an extensive selection of both meat and vegetarian selections, including Middle-East standards. Desserts are very...
