We first came here for lunch. The place has a cool unique color, light blue booth and table. It's the type you witnessed back in the '60s. Wait till you see Grandma, she's in the kitchen working hard. I had vegetable omelette and Hubby had tuna sandwich. The omelette was very good here. Get omelette from here if you like... More

Have had breakfast here a number of times! Best breakfast in the Eastern Panhandle! Service is prompt. The breakfast food is good-breakfast potatoes with onions! Great bacon and sausage as well. Plus, they serve Black Dog Coffee which is local and very good. Prices are reasonable. This is just a neat, well run place to get good food prepared in... More

this is a great hole in the wall dive: cheap, home cookin, greasy and appeals to the local cigarette crowd. Problem is it keeps the city down. The urban core of Jefferson County is not looking for a dump like this anymore. But if you are into cheap greasy food, home cooked with love and care, it is a great... More

Me and my bf went in for some breakfast and instantly knew it was a mistake. Our waitress had almost no personality and disappeared pretty much the entire time. We ordered coffee then sat for almost 10 minutes waiting for her to come back since we had no cream for the coffee. Our food came out pretty quickly but it... More

Grandma's diner looks and feels like the real thing, but doesn't fully measure up to what is expected of the old diner. The portions were small, mashed potatoes overly buttery (maybe boxed butterbuds), gravy average, green beans canned, and yet the chicken fried steak was superior though small. Service was not particularly good until nearing the time to pay and... More

Had the pleasure of dining here at the memorial celebration for a friend. He was a local and always knew the best places to eat! This is classic diner fare with exceptional desserts, I didn't have any but they are supposed to be very, very good. Had never been here prior to August 7th. but if we find ourselves in... More

Our kids love old time diners. No Grandma here. Rude server. We did not even stay. Avoid! Out of French fries at lunch?? No idea any details of lunch special?? Avoid!

Have had breakfast here several times and the service is always fast and friendly and the food is very good! It's a family run business, which is very nice, and 'The Mexican Breakfast' is one of my favorites and is only made by Grandma!

Had breakfast dishes around 1 p.m. My bacon was crisp and delicious but the scrambles eggs were way overdone. My wife's cheese omelet was outstanding. Coffee was from the local Black Dog Coffee shop and delicious.
