We really enjoyed the food here. My favorite was the yucca fries and black bean soup. We also enjoyed the Bistec Palomino and Pork sandwich. Recommend!

After living in Florida for almost 20 years I learned to love Cuban food. And I miss it here in Washington where is rare to you find anything Cuban. A friend recommended this restaurant and I was honestly a bit skeptical at first but went with an open mind. So glad I did! Food was delicious, I personally loved the... More
What a fun discovery for a Saturday evening. This restaurant was a bar with Cuban sandwiches etc until a year ago. Expanding to a full service restaurant the service was a bit slow but the mojitos and Cuban food was delicious. I ate shredded beef which was delightful. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The flan dessert was well worth the... More
I've driven past this place every week for a few years and my wife and I finally tried it. I was a little apprehensive based on the mixed reviews. Based on one visit, were are very happy. We started with a mojito. They might be the best I've ever had. For dinner I had the ropa vieja -- the beef... More
Sweet perfection, I am crazy about this place. We have tried almost everthung on the menu. Delicious dishes! We love that we can bring our dogs and sit outside.
We have to say we were impressed - the décor and ambience of the Twisted Cuban Café & Bar really hits the mark. There are large photographs of Cuba on the walls, and it really feels authentic (specially the chairs and stools). The restaurant has some outdoor seating, however, it is located right next to a busy, noisy road, so... More
We visited a little too early on a Saturday night around 8.30pm the place was practically empty. The best time to visit is around 10.15-10.30pm the place fills up a bit and there is a better atmosphere when the live music starts. Check their Facebook page or call them to see if there is live music first. We ordered drinks... More
We went there Saturday night with some friends from out of town and it was terrible, the food is really good but the old man with an accent ruin the night for us. He is rude and should be in the kitchen not in front of the customer. I will not go back, even with the good food this place... More
Parking is a bit challenging but the meal quality and value makes it more than worthwhile. Exceptional sandwich and full meal selections with a Cuban flair. Generous portions may require a to-go box to take half home for another meal. Highly recommended by friends to us and based on our first experience we'll return soon to sample additional menu selections.... More
Prompt, attentive service. Excellent food. Had the Twisted Cuban Sandwich and treated myself to dessert, Flan. Best I've had. The caramel didn't have a "burnt" taste that I came to expect from my time in Texas. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
