Looking for dinner about 8pm on a Thursday in mid-October, we tried Jack's Saloon. On the corner, bright white front, it stood out as open when nothing else looked as inviting. Between seasons in Mazama, things were not busy, but Jacks was still almost full....More

Bacon and Blue burger was yummy with the 'sides' upgrade of onion rings. Jack Attack burger 'tried too hard". Too many competing items on it - and quite messy to eat.

Ordered the charbroiled whiskey chicken with an order of fries and added an avocado. Little did I know it would take 51 minutes to get my food. I’m on vacation and in no rush, but still that’s a long wait time. The sandwich was surprisingly...More

The food is average. For lunch and dinner there are plenty of other options in town and nearby, particularly if you do not have children in tow. A good breakfast choice if you are looking for a hearty plate of eggs, bacon, and hash browns...More

Kind of a small menu but if you do those items right a small menu is fine. Our food was done very well. Hot and tasty with good service.

I ordered the bacon & bleu burger. It had a delicious smoky taste, and the fries were great, too. I'd definitely go back. Service was good.

Jack's(as the locals know it)is open every day YEAR ROUND(except for a few holidays) , to serve breakfast(breakfast weekends only in off season), lunch and dinner. The restaurant side is family friendly and can easily accommodates group gatherings. Great burgers and steaks, homemade soups and pies. Known for our lunch specials, towering plate of nachos and homemade habenero ketchup sauce. Thursday night Steak Night has been a local favorite for over 20 years. Veggie items too and a gluten free adaptable menu.

A guaranteed good time.Jack's is a fun old west saloon and touted as being the oldest legal saloon in the state of Washington so don't miss it! Cocktails, microbrews, 9 beers on tap, pool tables, flat screens and big screen TV's to watch your favorite sporting events.

We are the PROUD sponsors of the annual Snowshoe Softball tournament held every February.
