Absolutely the best! I've had a lot of tamales in my life and never one like this!! And...buy some to go and the owner will give you a lesson in how to properly heat them up. Completely amazing experience! Go & enjoy!

These tamales are the real thing - just the right combination of masa and meat. We bought a variety to take on the road and liked the pork the best - I guess that's why pork is the traditional meat in tamales. The salsa is good, but could be a little hotter. Well done! Thanks for the great food.

I've had tons of tamales over the years. I've had homemade and restaurant tamales. These are quite simply the best. They ship orders all over the country and once you eat them, you'll know why. They're best fresh but will still beat any others even if you buy them frozen and reheat them. Tip: In the spring they make asparagus... More

These tamales are some of the best around. When I'm in the area I try to stop by and pick up some frozen tamales to take home. I wish they were open on Sunday's.

There are tamales and there are TAMALES. This place is the latter. Decor reminds me of rural Mexican restaurants in Texas or New Mexico --- bare bones, clean, and simple. But it's all about the tamales. Unfortunately November is not asparagus season, so I ordered a pair of pork tamales which were so good I had to go back for... More

Read about how good this place is and it is so true. Went yesterday and had pork and chicken tamales. Both are outstanding. This will be a yearly trek from home from now on. Worth the six hour drive.

Quite the great little find in Union Gap and apparently it's been here for 20+ years! Lovely little family owned business where they make some of the best tamales we've ever had! The digs here are very humble, with a small footprint and seating for ~ 10 inside at 3 or 4 tables. The walls are adorned with articles through... More
