We try to get to Pomodoro about once a month. My husband's favorite is the potato encrusted halibut. They have excellent food, and it is a good value for your money. We dine out often and this is one of our very favorite restaurants in Tacoma. It does tend to get crowded on a weekend, so make a reservation if... More

Very good food, nice portions. The staff is very attentive, but not overbearing. The drinks are very good, also. I will definitely go back again. Our favorite Italian restaurant.

We stopped in here because we haven't had italian in quite some time, worth the trip. We started with the caprese and it was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. The drinks were pretty standard and I ended up with a tap beer and she got a cab. The menu wasn't overwhelming and a majority... More

One of my friends had the Ravioli, the other friend had the Chicken Florintine, I ordered the Chicken Linguine. We all Loved our meals. We all got doggie bags to go too. One... More

Love this little nook located in the Proctor District! Even on a crowded day, like today in the middle of the Proctor Arts Festival, they put out quality food and superior service. I've tried many of the dishes and am always happy with the quality and flavors. Today I had the gnocchi with the creamy garlic sauce. Mmm- so good.

Everything about our visit to Pomodoro was perfect. We ordered the deep-fried green beans and the Caprese to start our meal. Both were excellent. Each of us ordered something different for our entrees and every one of them were wonderful. The portions are generous and we all needed boxes. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent.

This is a wonderful Italian Restaurant with everything from spaghetti to veal done to perfection. The halibut is wonderful and done in several different ways. Everyone who works there has been there for a long time and know the regulars. Large windows on the street open in warm weather and cafe tables are placed on the sidewalk for those who... More

My salad was so big I had lunch and dinner out of it for the next day. My husband had two servings from his spaghetti. His meatballs were awesome! The calamari was lightly breaded and fried to perfection and the dipping sauce was to die for. Our server was very attentive, the food came out quick and we were impressed... More
