Read reviews so thought we'd try while in town.. had both the quesadillas and the falafel. Great tastes. Regrettably it was the service that was not stellar. Didn't receive what we ordered. Might try again.

Service is VERY slow, but they are nice... The food is awesome and they have great drink options. The alcohol they use is cheap, so I did get a headache this morning after only 2 drinks, but the corn pasta side is amazing and they were totally accommodating to changing things on the menu for what I wanted. It is... More

Had lunch at the Elk Public House in Spokane, Washington yesterday. Found this on Diners, Drive-one and Dives. The Rueben was the bomb as we had heard from the show. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa and the roasted corn pasta. My grandchildren enjoyed their sandwiches and pasta as well. My gumbo was just okay and very spicy. My... More

We enjoyed our dinner at the Elk. The food was good and we had a great server. The only issue was that it was dirty, I would recommend they pay closer attention to the carpets and other areas. I would eat here again. We were visiting from out of town and went because of the trip advisor reviews. A Spokane... More

I first discovered this gem in 2006 while delivering mail in Spokane's historic Browne's Addition. I was struck by tables full of people on their quaint outdoor patio and the aroma of freshly-prepared deliciousness. I knew I had to try this place out when I wasn't working! Since that day, I've made this one of my "go to" places when... More

We had trouble finding a parking spot but it was worth it. The restaurant was not fancy but the service and food were great. The lamb sandwich and Rueben sandwich were delicious. They have a full bar and a good selection of lunch items.

Located in a former historic drug store, the Elk is an outstanding, friendly place to have a meal or a drink a beer. There's an eclectic menu that's a cut above your average brew-pub fare and, during the summer months, there's outside seating in the heart of a historic neighborhood.

Wonderful surprise to find this cozy neighborhood restaurant. This is not a greasy spoon. The menu has flavorful infusions of local flavors. Worth the trip!

So good just check out diners, drive in and dives to see why. It's very hipster. Kinda a hole in the wall, but really good food and beer.

When this place first opened it was the best place in Spokane for eats and beers, now it's just a pricey "chain type" restaurant with ridiculous priced "specials" like a 16.00 Hamburger (WHAT?) and 6.00 a pint beer. What a shame we made our last visit this month.
